Dinah L. Mason

Dinah Mason has been a mediator for over 16 years and her background in Family Counseling and Civil Law brings a holistic approach to families seeking help with parental plans and divorce mediation. Her background in teaching Administrative and Construction Law allows her to have a different perspective as an Arbitrator.

With her professional experience and community involvement, it afforded her an opportunity to establish her own consulting firm Dinahsty’s Mediation & Consulting Services, LLC. As a consultant, she specializes in Mediation and Arbitration in the area of Family Law, Construction and Emergency Management, Small Business Consulting and Political Campaign Consulting. In addition, she is a Supreme Court Certified County & Family Law Mediator and Florida Supreme Court Approved Qualified Arbitrator

Dinah has experience as a clearinghouse for all contractual issues that affected contractors doing business with the City of Jacksonville. When she was city’s Ombudsman, her responsibilities included: conducting systemic reviews relating to principles of administrative fairness; Mediating contractual issues pertaining to construction and professional services regarding the City’s executed contracts; while ensuring the fairness and equitable application of laws, policies, procedures, and practices of the governing bodies. In addition, she was responsible for Contract Compliance, Oversight, Contract Administration Training, writing recommendations regarding construction and professional services cases.

In addition she holds a Master of Art in Counseling from Webster University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Columbia College and an AA degree in Paralegal Studies

She is a Veteran, that served in the United States Army and proud to continue that services by volunteering to assist homeless Veterans.
