Blane McCarthy

Blane McCarthy is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer and a Certified Circuit Mediator whose law practice is limited to representing injury victims and conducting mediations. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (magna cum laude) from Stetson University in 1992 and a Juris Doctorate degree (cum laude) from Stetson University College of Law in 1995. He is on the Board of Directors for the Jacksonville Bar Association and is also a member of the Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the Christian Legal Society, the Florida Justice Association, the Jacksonville Justice Association, the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and the Florida Society of Circuit Civil Mediators.

Injury Lawyer: He has represented injury victims since 1995 and has operated his own law firm since 1998. Mr. McCarthy is Board Certified (Civil Trial) by the Florida Bar and has the highest ratings available from Martindale Hubbell (5.0 AV) and Avvo (10.0). He has handled cases involving a wide spectrum of injuries – from broken fingers to catastrophic third-degree burns to death.

Mediator: In 2000, the Supreme Court of Florida certified Mr. McCarthy to conduct Circuit Mediations. He mediates personal injury, commercial, PIP, consumer, nursing home, global settlement conference, insurance, collections, foreclosure, and probate cases. Mr. McCarthy chaired the ADR Practitioners’ section of the Jacksonville Bar Association for 8 years and provides ADR services to the court system, private parties, and the State of Florida.
