Christy Foley

Christy L. Foley is a Florida Supreme Court certified circuit civil, appellate, and county court mediator. She is also licensed to practice law in both Florida and New York. She specializes in small business and entertainment law. In particular, her practice focuses on contract law, intellectual property law, employment law, property law, discrimination law, and HOA law.

Ms. Foley was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court to serve on the Mediator Ethics Advisory Committee (“MEAC”) in 2016. Since 2018, she has served as the Chair of MEAC.

In addition to conducting mediations (both in-person at the Jax Mediation Center as well as online through E-Mediation Services) and practicing law, Ms. Foley teaches negotiation, mediation, and law to students at the University of Central Florida (UCF).

Ms. Foley obtained her law degree from the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law, graduating cum laude. She obtained her bachelors degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University (BU), also graduating cum laude.

As a mediator, Ms. Foley is dedicated to giving each party the opportunity to air their concerns. She listens carefully and uses parties’ true desires to facilitate productive conversations.
