Paul H. McLester

Paul McLester is a Florida Supreme Court certified Circuit Court Mediator and a Florida Supreme Court certified Family Law Mediator. Mr. McLester has practiced law for over 30 years in the areas of commercial litigation, personal injury litigation, medical malpractice, construction defect litigation, class-action litigation, product liability, and insurance related litigation, and family law. Mr. McLester has tried numerous cases to jury verdict and has participated in settling over a thousand cases at mediation. Mr. McLester has represented individuals, multi-national corporations, business owners, insurance companies, government entities, and partnerships in a variety of legal matters in both state and federal courts. His legal career has included serving as the General Counsel for the largest privately held developer in the South, plaintiff personal injury lawyer, defense counsel for the City of Jacksonville, and his own law firm. Mr. McLester is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida since 1985 representing individuals, businesses, and Fortune 500 clients. He is a Professor of Business Law and Accounting and proudly served in the United States Navy Supply Corps for 28 years.

Mr. McLester’s years of experience in law and business allow him to bring a unique perspective to the mediation process. He is a fair and impartial neutral with the ability to bring creative solutions to bear in resolving disputes. He believes every mediation is different and calls for a mediation approach that is tailored to the parties and the circumstances that each case presents. This approach recognizes the importance of listening to the positions and issues of all the parties involved to arrive at a solution that meets the needs of the parties in the best way possible.
